Problems of families whose houses were destroyed in the landslide could soon be resolved. Minister of Construction and Urban Planning Velimir Ilic suggested, during a tour of the families whose houses were destroyed in the landslide at Mramor, that they are providing flats in Duvanište. The villagers, as they say, are very satisfied with this proposal. Locals from Mramor are unsuccessfully trying to find a solution for their problem for almost 10 years. Minister Ilic is therefore proposed that the Ministry provide funding for 18 flats in the building of social housing that is built into Duvanište, in order for these people to finally get a roof over ther head. Mayor of Nis, prof. Dr. Zoran Perisic said that he is gladly accepting this idea, because it means solving a big problem.

Given that the Mramor is in the territory of Municipality of Palilula, president of the municipality Boban Džunić said that the leadership of the villagers was meeting whenever it was possible. However, he says, he is glad that the Minister Ilic proposed a concrete solution to this perennial problem. The locals are satisfied with the proposal. Mramor hill persistently glides past eight decades. Some family houses were completely destroyed. Many people promised to help, and they hope that this time their problem will really be solved permanently.
